When the sky breaks apart

যখন আকাশ বিদীর্ণ হবে

And when the stars fall, scattering

যখন নক্ষত্রসমূহ ঝরে পড়বে

And when the seas are erupted

যখন সমুদ্রকে উত্তাল করে তোলা হবে

And when the [contents of] graves are scattered

এবং যখন কবরসমূহ উম্মোচিত হবে

A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back

তখন প্রত্যেকে জেনে নিবে সে কি অগ্রে প্রেরণ করেছে এবং কি পশ্চাতে ছেড়ে এসেছে।

O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous

হে মানুষ, কিসে তোমাকে তোমার মহামহিম পালনকর্তা সম্পর্কে বিভ্রান্ত করল

Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you

যিনি তোমাকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর তোমাকে সুবিন্যস্ত করেছেন এবং সুষম করেছেন।

In whatever form He willed has He assembled you

যিনি তোমাকে তাঁর ইচ্ছামত আকৃতিতে গঠন করেছেন।

No! But you deny the Recompense

কখনও বিভ্রান্ত হয়ো না; বরং তোমরা দান-প্রতিদানকে মিথ্যা মনে কর।

And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers

অবশ্যই তোমাদের উপর তত্ত্বাবধায়ক নিযুক্ত আছে।

Noble and recording

সম্মানিত আমল লেখকবৃন্দ।

They know whatever you do

তারা জানে যা তোমরা কর।

Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure

সৎকর্মশীলগণ থাকবে জান্নাতে।

And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire

এবং দুষ্কর্মীরা থাকবে জাহান্নামে

They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense

তারা বিচার দিবসে তথায় প্রবেশ করবে।

And never therefrom will they be absent

তারা সেখান থেকে পৃথক হবে না।

And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense

আপনি জানেন, বিচার দিবস কি

Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense

অতঃপর আপনি জানেন, বিচার দিবস কি

It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah

যেদিন কেউ কারও কোন উপকার করতে পারবে না এবং সেদিন সব কতৃꦣ2468;্ব হবে আল্লাহর।
